Heritage enters 2011 hungry to return to the AAAA Playoffs after a seven win season in 2010. They are off to a 3-0 start, highlighted by a come-from-behind victory over Clarke Central in week 2. This is the first Heritage team to begin a season 3-0 since the 2001 team won the first three games, only to drop the next seven and finish 3-7.

The Patriots also enter the game as the #10 team in AAAA, according to this week's GACA Coaches Football Poll.

Patriots Head Coach Chad Frazier told WSB-TV sports and WSB-TV.com that these are the keys to victory in Thursday's game:

"Its just gonna come down to fundamentals. Blocking and tackling and taking care of the football. Rockdale has a lot of speed so we want to align properly and swarm the ball on defense and tackle well and not give up any big plays."

Frazier explained that on offense, Heritage needs to-

"Make sure we protect the football and block well. I feel like our guys match up pretty well, so we're looking forward to a good, competitive football game and we're excited about Thursday Night."
