Thursday night football returns!

WSB-TV Channel 2 and PlayON! Sports in cooperation with Georgia High School Association return with another season of Thursday night football.

The 12-week regular season schedule features cross-town matchups from across the north Georgia region. Games will air live on Thursday nights at 7:30 on Channel 2.2, WSB-TV’s second digital channel. Fans can also stream games live and participate in chats on wsbtv.com and watch the rebroadcast Saturdays at 1:06 a.m. on Channel 2.

TV coverage includes Zach Klein, Channel 2 sports director, with the play-by-play; former UGA and Atlanta Falcons quarterback DJ Shockley, with commentary; and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s sports columnist, Michael Carvell, providing analysis of each game.

The partnership between WSB-TV and PlayON! Sports, now in its third year, is part of the GHSA Network, which provides multiplatform distribution of Georgia high school sports content.
