The opening game of the 2012 high school football season featured Johns Creek on the road at Woodstock.

The game was moved from Friday night to Thursday night to be included in WSB-TV's Thursday Night Football telecasts.

All of Georgia got a chance to see Johns Creek open the season with an impressive 28-0 victory.
