ESPN is reporting that the feeling is mutual. According to the network's report, the Braves are in the mix for Griffey Jr. and that he would be willing to split time with Matt Diaz in left field.
It won't be the first time the younger Griffey has worn a Braves uniform.
He sported the uniform in 1987 when he joined his father, former Braves outfielder Ken Griffey Sr., for batting practice inside the cage at the old Fulton County stadium.
