GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — The murder trial for Ross Harris, a Cobb County father accused of intentionally leaving his toddler to die in a hot car, is underway in Glynn County.
Ross Harris is accused of intentionally leaving his 22-month-old son Cooper to die in his hot SUV in June 2014. This case has garnered so much attention from the public that it had to be moved down to Brunswick.
Channel 2's Ross Cavitt and Carl Willis are in Brunswick covering every moment of the trial. Watch Channel 2 Action News for the latest.
A jury consisting of 12 jurors and four alternates was selected Monday morning out of the 45 potential jurors who qualified for the trial during jury selection last month.
Many of the jurors are serving on their first jury.
The alternates will not be told that they're alternates to keep each juror attentive to all of the evidence. They will not be sequestered.
