Police: Woman Threatening Fire Barricaded In Apt.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga.,None — A Clayton County SWAT team is trying to talk down a woman barricaded at a Riverdale apartment complex, police said.

Clayton County police Officer John Schneller said the woman called 911, threatening to burn down her apartment. She lives at the Chase Ridge Apartments on Chase Ridge Drive.

News Chopper 2 flew over the scene as authorities closed in on the area. When officers and firefighters arrived at the complex, the woman refused to leave, Schneller said. He said she was "speaking irrationally." SWAT agents were called in to try to calm her down, Schneller said.
