N.C. authorities arrest 2 in Gwinnett fatal triple shooting

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.,None — Two men have been arrested on drug charges in connection to a triple homicide in Gwinnett County.

Gwinnett County police said three people were found dead inside a Lawrenceville home around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Investigators said they were called to an apartment along Cannonball Court, where a resident found a body in a hallway. Police found two more bodies inside a vacant apartment.

"There's been various things that have occurred in this neighborhood before, nothing quite like this of course, recently," Cpl. Jake Smith said.

The bodies have been identified as Brian Lamont White, 36, James Edward Isiac, 64, and Farris Allen Weston, 44. White and Isiac are from Richmond, Va. Weston is from Lawrenceville.

Police issued a description of a vehicle connected to the crime and officers in Charlotte, N.C.  pulled over three men on their way to Virginia around 1 a.m. on Thursday. Police said Rashad Johnson, 31, and Raheem Richardson, 40, had transported the victims from Richmond to Gwinnett County for a drug deal.

Richardson and Johnson were arrested and charged with conspiracy to traffic cocaine. Police said they do not believe the men were responsible for the homicide.

Police said they are still seeking suspects.

Richardson and Johnson are expected to be transported back to Georgia.
