Woman to face charges after car rolls down driveway, hits 4 kids

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A woman is now facing charges in an accident that injured four children.

The children were hospitalized after a parked car rolled out of a carport in Hall County, Georgia State Patrol officials confirmed.

Officials said the accident happened at 5 p.m. Sunday.

They said a parked vehicle rolled out of a carport, down the driveway and into the neighbor's yard across the street on Price Way off of Sardis Road.

There were four children in the yard sitting under the tree at the time of the incident.

Five-year-old Sebastian Rangeo and 8-year-old Julian Rangeo were airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. Sebastian is in good condition.

Emilee Guerra and Savannah Brown, both 2 years old, were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, officials said. Both have been released.

State police said the car was parked in the driveway for 30 minutes before it began to roll. Troopers believe the car was not in gear and are investigating whether the parking brake was on and working properly.

The owner of the car, Oleksandra Y. Myrna, was charged with 4 counts of reckless conduct. She can turn herself in anytime within the next 2 days.
