GRIFFIN, Ga. —
The Georgia State Patrol says a SUV full of people slammed into two trees and burst into flames.
Four people were killed including two young children. Authorities say the deceased victims are Susanna Guffey, 24, who was driving the Ford Bronco; Christina Caldwell, 36; Guffey's 2-year-old son, Lucas Ross; and Zoe Jayde Flick, 4.
Guffey's 4-year-old son, Brody, sustained minor injuries in the accident Friday night and was later released from Sylvan Grove Hospital in nearby Jackson.
Another passenger, Tammy Flick -- the mother of Zoe -- remains in stable condition at Atlanta Medical Center with a broken leg.
Neither is believed to have life-threatening injuries.
Troopers believe the SUV was travelling at a high rate of speed when it crashed.
Investigators are waiting on lab results to determine if alcohol was also a factor.
They say no one inside the SUV was wearing a seatbelt.
