COBB COUNTY, Ga. —

Two people were killed Tuesday morning when a pickup truck slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer truck parked on the ramp going from I-75 south to 285 west during a rainstorm.

The ramp was shut down for hours after the crash.

Both of the victims killed in the crash were in the pickup truck. No one in the 18-wheeler was injured.

"Drivers coming south on 75 trying to get onto 285 westbound should jump onto Highway 41 or Powers Ferry Road," said WSB-TV Channel 2 traffic reporter Mark Arum.

Identities of the victims were not immediately released.
