T.I. Out Of Prison; Heads To Halfway House

 

ATLANTA —

Prison officials in Arkansas released T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., Tuesday morning.

In May, T.I. reported to the Federal Correction Institution at Forrest City, Ark. He was fined $100,000 and sentenced to 366 days for trying to buy machine guns and silencers he said he needed for protection.

T.I. is expected to serve the rest of his sentence at a halfway house in Fulton County. His release is scheduled for March.

T.I.'s sentence also included 1,500 hours of community service.
