Thousands Of Students Return To School Monday

Thousands of students in the metro area return to school Monday.

Monday marks the first day of school for students in the Atlanta, Commerce and Gainesville city school system. Students in Bartow, Butts, Carroll, Clarke, Clayton, Coweta, Dawson, DeKalb, Fayette, Floyd, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Hall, Jasper and Morgan counties return to school on Monday, too.

Rockdale County students began classes on July 31. Polk County students don't return to school until Sept. 7.
