Third Man Charged After Body Found In Burned Truck

Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office investigators said a third man has been charged with murder and arson in connection with a burned body found in February.

Officers confirmed Sunday that Antonio Lindsey, 39, of Lithonia, turned himself in to authorities Thursday evening.

Kelton Perez Franklin, 36, of Snellville, and Deodrick Ricardo Rivers, 31, of Ellenwood, were arrested and charged Thursday afternoon.

Police said a body believed to be that of Martin Mendoza Villa-Gomez, 36, of Auburn, Ga., was found in the bed of a burned pickup truck on Turner Road near Abbott Road on Feb. 5. Police said the truck was registered to Villa-Gomez.

Investigators said they are still seeking additional suspects in connection with the killing.

Police have not released a motive.
