Teen Shot, Killed At Cartersville Home

A 22-year-old Cartersville woman is facing murder charges following a shooting incident early Sunday morning.

According to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office, Lakeisha Arnita Talley shot 19-year-old Lann Gann at a residence on Glade Road. Deputies arrived on the scene just before 1 a.m. and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Gann was transported to the Cartersville Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Talley was taken into custody and is facing one count of felony murder. She remains in the Bartow County Jail pending a bond hearing.
