Teen Accused Of Stealing From Mom

 

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. —

A 17-year-old was arrested and charged after he allegedly forged his mother’s signature on checks to himself.

Milton police said the victim, Tobi Bellin, said her son, Joshua Burdett, had been forging her signature on her checks and cashing them. Bellin told officers that over a 2-week period, Burdett had written three checks to himself, totaling $1,000.

Burdett was charged with three counts of forgery in the first degree, obstruction of police officers and several drug charges.

He is being held at the Fulton County Jail.
