AUSTELL, Ga. —

Police arrested three men Wednesday afternoon after a three hour standoff with SWAT officers.

The incident began just before noon when a Cobb County police officer clocked a Chevrolet Corsica speeding and tried to pull the car over.

The driver led police on a 4-5 minute chase. The Corsica slammed into a tree on Pair Road near South Cobb Drive and the suspects ran into a house at 1440 Pair Road.

The SWAT team was called and a perimeter was set up around the house.

The three suspects were arrested about 3 p.m.
