Student Accused Of Sexual Assault At School

 

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. —

A 19-year-old Dutchtown High School student is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old female student.

Jamie Jamaris Mathews, 19, of Stockbridge was accused of sticking his hand down the victim's pants, touching her private area. The assault allegedly took place on school grounds on March 3.

Mathews faces charges of sexual battery against a child under 16, child molestation, and false imprisonment.

Mathews was arrested March 8 and taken to the Henry County Jail. He appeared before a judge Tuesday. Mathews remains in jail Tuesday on $10,000 bond.
