Six-Legged Deer Found In North Georgia

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. —

Veterinarians at Floyd County's Berry College have saved the life of an unusual deer, but the question now is -- what should they do with it?

The six-legged deer was found this weekend near Armuchee, north of Rome, and apparently it had been attacked by a dog.

The deer underwent surgery to repair its wounds, but vets are reluctant to release the six-legged deer back into the wild.

WSB-TV Channel 2 news affiliate, romenewswire.com, reported the deer may be sent to the University of Georgia to be studied.
