State troopers said 16-year-old Taylor McKee died Friday night when her car hit another car, killing that driver, 29-year-old Linda Leflore.

McKee's sister said this crash should serve as a warning for others.

"You make bad decisions. This was one. Just want to tell everybody not to be texting and driving. Wear your seat belts," Hannah McKee said.

Hannah McKee said her sister got her license six months ago and was a good driver, but she made a mistake.

McKee said her sister may have been distracted by texting before running a red light at Bullsboro Road and Interstate 85 Friday night in Coweta County.

"It's not worth sending a measly old text message for me not to ever be able to see my sister again," Hannah said,

For the older McKee, it's a second tragic loss. The McKees lost their mother to cancer six years ago.

"She's with mommy in heaven. She's going to be buried beside her in Ephesis," Hannah said.

At Central High School in Carroll County Taylor McKee's friends gathered to support each other.

They said Taylor McKee and two teen friends were coming back from Newnan.

Their car slammed into Leflore's.

The two teen passengers with McKee were taken to the hospital.

Friends said they will be OK, but no one will get over the loss of McKee.

"Now I don't know what I'm going to do. Breaks my heart. I'm not going to spend the rest of my next year ... watch her graduate, live her life. Just going to be different," friend Ashlee Frazier said.

Troopers said no one in either car was wearing a seat belt.
