Police Search Cloudland Canyon For Missing Georgia Woman

Authorities are searching Cloudland Canyon State Park for a missing Rock Spring, Ga. woman.

A ranger patrolling the park Monday night found Judy Payne's vehicle, ran the plates and called her husband, authorities said. Her husband told officials he hadn't seen his wife since early Monday morning as she left for her job in Chattanooga, Tenn. He said he didn't know of any plans she had to visit the state park.

Numerous emergency service agencies have been called out to search for the 46-year-old woman. Authorities said they have no evidence of foul play and are calling it a "missing persons case."

Judy Payne is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 140 pounds. She has dark brown hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt.
