Police: Man Used Web Cam To Send Naked Pics

A newly formed Cyber-Crime Unit with the Smyrna Police Department has caught a Cobb County man. He now faces child exploitation charges.

Police say 26-year-old Joel Varnado used the Yahoo Messenger chat service to link up with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl. That "young girl" was actually a police investigator.

Police say Varnado sent naked pictures of himself using a web cam. Officials say Varnado was arrested when he showed up to meet the girl.
