DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. —
Four-year-old Luke Ingalsbe and his mother, Ashley Ingalsbe, were killed about 5:45 a.m. when Natasha Searcy, 22, crossed the center line on Skyview Drive and smashed head-on into the Ingalsbe's Toyota, investigators said.
A baby in the Toyota, Jacob Ingalsbe, survived but was seriously injured. Another male passenger in the Ingalsbe car was also injured.

“Everybody in both vehicles were all buckled up,” said Lt. Paul Cosper with the Georgia State Patrol. The 4-year-old was in a car seat, police added.

"They were very loved and they will be missed," said Ashley's sister Barbara Dyer. "Ashley was a great person. Luke was adorable...and he's going to be missed by everyone."

Police said Searcy told them she was headed home from a night out.
Searcy is charged with vehicular homicide, DUI, and driving without insurance. She was denied bond Tuesday morning. Officials said she is on suicide watch.
