CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. —

A Carroll County mother is facing several charges after deputies said she hid drugs in her child’s doll.

Authorities said they found methamphetamine in 39-year-old Penny Reeves’ car during a traffic stop.

Deputies said Reeves consented to a search of her home.

Investigators said they found 32 grams of meth, including some stuffed in her 3-year-old daughter’s Sesame Street Ernie doll. Police said they also found two glass pipes and a measuring device with drug residue inside the doll.

Police said 29 grams of meth were stored in the back of the stuffed animal that was found mixed in with the child’s other toys.
