Police say an investigation into stolen vehicles led them to a potential ring of identity thieves.

Investigators said they got a call from the state about stolen cars with cloned Vehicle Identification Numbers.

When they got to the suspects' Lawrenceville home they said they found the cars and much more.

Police said they don't know exactly how Ericka Williams, her husband Mark, and her brother Sean Blow, came to possess four stolen vehicles.

But, they said when investigators searched Williams' home on Sugarstone Drive earlier this month they found a stolen Mercedes, BMW, a Ford pickup and a Toyota SUV, all parked in their driveway.

Police began investigating after the VIN's from California and Florida were coming back to vehicles already registered in Georgia.

"The Georgia Department of Revenue received a phone call from California regarding a VIN number of the vehicle which seemed to have been duplicated here in Georgia," Cpl. Jake Smith of the Gwinnett County Police Department said.

Gwinnett County investigators showed Channel 2's Kerry Kavanaugh evidence photographs of what they believe to be the cloned and poorly installed VINs.

Police said the trio claimed to have purchased the vehicles for a fraction of the value from a broker within the last six months. Police are still investigating that claim.

However it doesn't end there.

Police said inside the home was evidence of an even bigger crime, including five fake ID's, with five different names, all with the photo of Ericka Williams.

"Corresponding with those names they found a lot of mail, things like credit card bills,' Smith said.

Police said they also discovered lists and lists of people names birth dates and Social Security Numbers.

Late Monday afternoon, while Kavanaugh was parked in front of the home, a car pulled up a man and child got out.

Kavanaugh asked the man, "Are you Mark Williams?"

The man then ran into his garage without making a comment.

All three are charged with eight felonies tied to the vehicles.

Ericka Williams is charged with an additional 10 identity theft charges.

The investigation continues as police have yet to determine how many potential victims are out there.
