NEWNAN, Ga. —
Officers executed a search warrant at the home of Curtis Arnold III on Thursday after receiving a tip from the Bergen County, N.J. Prosecutor’s Office that an individual in Georgia was distributing files of suspected child pornography.
Officials tracked the files to a home on Lullwater Circle, GBI officials said.
During the search of the home, GBI agents said they discovered over 175 images of suspected child pornography and several thousand more were expected. Agents seized several computers, one external hard drive and two compact discs, all containing suspected images of child porn.
Arnold was arrested and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of children.
Agents continue to investigate.
