LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. —

Police canceled a Mattie’s Call after a missing 14-year-old girl who authorities said is mentally challenged was found.

Gwinnett County police said Aleshea Penn was found unharmed early Sunday in Sandy Springs.

Authorities there said they received a call from Aleshea stating that she was staying with an aquintance.

Investigators don't suspect foul play was involved in her disappearance.

Aleshea disappeared Monday from the Holland Park Apartments in Lawrenceville where she lives with her grandmother.

Authorities said they believe Aleshea has the mental capacity of an 11-year-old.

She is currently in the custody of the Division of Family and Children services pending further investigation.
