COBB COUNTY, Ga. —

Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Smyrna bank protected by bulletproof glass, Cobb County police said.

A man approached the teller station at a BB&T Bank on West Village Way at 11:10 a.m. on Monday.

He was caught on camera handing the teller a note demanding money, but the area is surrounded by bulletproof glass.

When the teller turned away from the man, he fled the scene empty-handed, Cobb County police spokesman Joseph Hernandez said. He said the man was seen running away, north of the bank.
