Man Found Dead In Front Yard

DeKalb County police are investigating after a man was found dead in a front yard.

Homicide investigators were at the scene and looking for clues along Maplewood Drive just before 2 a.m. Monday.

Police said it appears someone shot a man in the head in front of his home.

Witnesses told Channel 2 Action News reporter Mike Petchenik that it sounded as if someone used an automatic weapon in the shooting.

The victim’s name has not been released.
