ATLANTA —

A teen has been charged since the death of an Air Force Academy athlete involved in a crash.

Devin Durden, 21, was riding a motorcycle on Ga. 20 in Gwinnett County on Sept. 26 when he crashed into a SUV that pulled out in front of him near Gravel Springs Road.

Durden, a former Buford High School and Air Force Academy football star, was thrown from his bike and sustained multiple broken bones and a severed spine. He died early Thursday.

Police have now charged the other driver, 18-year-old Caylie Edge. She faces vehicular homicide charges.
