A small earthquake shook north Georgia just after midnight Saturday.
According to the U.S. Geological survey, it was 2.5-magnitude earthquake, with an epicenter in McCaysville.
Residents in Blue Ridge told Channel 2 Action News it sounded like bomb had gone off.
Authorities in the area said they received several calls about the earthquake, but no major damage was reported.
