LILBURN, Ga. —
A 9-week-old puppy is recovering after being thrown from a moving car and then hit by another. The puppy is currently at the Beaver Crossing Animal Hospital receiving medical treatment. People that worked at a business nearby saw it happen and then swooped into action to get him to a vet. "It's animal cruelty, but it's almost like an act of violence against a poor little animal," said witness Mandi Layfield. The puppy needs surgery on one of his back legs. One woman has already started a fund to help pay for the puppy's medical bills. Click here if you would like to donate.
