ROSWELL, Ga. —

Two police officers were struck by the same car in Roswell early Wednesday morning.

Police said the officers were called to an apartment on Preakness Drive in north Fulton County when a woman called 911 about an argument she was having with a male companion.

When the officers arrived, the man was gone, but he returned by car a short time later, police said. When the officers walked up to his car and told him to turn it off, the man sped away, hitting the officers in the legs, police said.

The man was arrested outside a Waffle House on Holcomb Bridge Road.

Both officers were checked out by medics. Neither was taken to the hospital.
