CHAMBLEE, Ga. —

Police are still searching for one person involved in a SWAT situation Saturday night in Chamblee.

Police said three men broke into a Wireless World Cellphone store on Chamblee Dunwoody Road around 8:30 p.m. Police said the men tripped a silent alarm before tying up a store employee.

The Chamblee Police Department is heading up the investigation, but several other agencies, including Johns Creek, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody and DeKalb police, were involved in the situation.

Investigators said the first officer at the scene saw a robber run out a side door with a gun. The officer fired one shot, but the man got away and police said they are not sure if the man was struck.

Police said the store manager had remote access to the store’s security cameras, which is how officers kept an eye on the two remaining robbers.

“They climbed up in the ceiling to try to get away or hide. When they did that, the employee of the store that was tied up was able to flee the store unharmed,” Chamblee police Chief Marc Johnson said.

Police said the two remaining robbers gave up peacefully and were taken into police custody.

Police identified the suspects as Randy Felton, 36, and Rico Rains Cook, 39.
