Atlanta police have made an arrest in a nearly 2-year-old killing at a music studio.

Channel 2’s Ryan Young was the only reporter there as police led Brandon Philpot to the Fulton County Jail on Monday. Philpot is charged with murder in the death of music engineer Aaron Holloway.

“This is a beautiful feeling, the effort between all the agencies working on this came together. To be able to let the Aaron Holloway's wife know we have one in custody. We hope to charge a second by the end of the week,” Atlanta police Detective David Quinn told Young.

Detectives said they received several tips after Channel 2 Action News’ initial report on the shooting, which solicited information for Atlanta’s tip line.

Philpot has denied killing Holloway, but police said the evidence says otherwise. Quinn believes a robbing crew that committed several armed robberies throughout the city may be behind the killing and robbery at the studio.
