ATLANTA —

A northwest Atlanta restaurant failed two health inspections in less than two weeks.

The health inspector used the word “nasty” concerning two of the violations at the Little House Café on Marietta Boulevard.

On June 18, the restaurant scored a 54. When Little House Cafe was re-inspected within 10 days on June 26, it received a score of 65 with seven repeat violations.

The violations included the inspector calling the ice machine “nasty,” improper raw meat storage, missing dates and the floor “nasty” and not repaired.

Channel 2’s Carol Sbarge asked the owner, Chris Wang, about the repeat violations.

Wang said they have cleaned the ice machine and also fixed the floor and the other violations.

“[Do you feel like it is safe for them to eat there?] The food is not the problem. The floor, yes. Customers say nothing,” Wang said.

Wang said he expects to be re-inspected this week and is confident this time they will pass.

“Sure we already finish. This whatever she want, I already finish it,” Wang said.

One regular customer said the two failures won't keep her away.

“I would still eat their sandwiches, their breakfast sandwiches are really good,” said customer Vanessa Barber.

Wang said he has had the business for 10 years.
