ATLANTA —

Fellow officers are saying goodbye to slain Clayton County Officer Sean Callahan.

Callahan, 24, was shot while on a domestic battery call Monday afternoon. He died Tuesday morning at the hospital.

The funeral procession for the rookie officer began around 9 a.m. at Turner Field and shut down northbound Interstate 75 as it traveled to Delk Road and eventually to the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.

Footage from News Chopper 2 showed that the procession was miles long.

Following the 11 a.m. funeral service, the procession went to Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw for Callahan's burial.
