DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. —

Family members are looking for a DeKalb County woman who was last seen more than a week ago.

Wyteria Jackson told family members she was going to a baby shower in southwest Atlanta Sept. 15, but they said they haven’t heard from her since. Jackson has eight daughters between her and her husband. Community activists joined family members at their home on Rockliff Road for a news conference on the disappearance Monday morning.

“I just feel that she’s not in her right frame of mind. There’s something going on,” Jackson’s husband, Andrew, said.

Jackson was last seen driving a 1998 Blue Saturn SL with the license plate BNQ 1837. Police said she called in sick to her job at Turner Broadcasting twice last week. Then, she called 911 Wednesday, saying she was locked in the trunk of a car but didn’t provide a location, police said. They said she spoke to an uncle on Friday, but her husband and children said they would like to see her.

Anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to call Atlanta police at 404-614-6544.
