ATLANTA —

Emergency crews have cleared from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after a report of a suspicious package.

Crews were called out just after 3 p.m. to the DeKalb County facility.

DeKalb County Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said a package had been mailed to the CDC and officials were trying to determine whether the package contained any hazardous or explosive materials.

The CDC said they evacuated offices that were in the immediate area of the package.
