HENRY COUNTY, Ga. —

Hundreds lined the streets in Henry County as the body of Private First Class Brandon Goodine came home.

Channel 2's Amanda Cook was at Atlanta Regional Airport in Peachtree City, where more than 100 Patriot Guard Riders showed their support Saturday.

Just before 10 a.m., the body of the 20-year-old soldier arrived.

The patriot guard riders made their way out to the tarmac and circled the plane.

As the flag-draped casket was unloaded, Goodine's family stood nearby, many holding hands and wiping tears.

Goodine was killed in action by an improvised explosive device on June 7 in Afghanistan.

A short time after his body arrived, hundreds lined the streets near the McDonough Square, including his cousin Amber Ollis.

"Just a lot of hurt for him, More for my family, his dad (and) the little baby girl he leaves behind," she said.

"I'm a Vietnam vet. We didn't get this when I came back, so I'm doing everything I can to show my support for these men and women in the service," onlooker Frank Goalen said.
