Channel 2 Action News was the only crew at the scene when police arrested a man after he allegedly robbed a bank inside of the Walmart on Gresham Road.

Authorities said the man was wearing a wig resembling singer Tina Turner when he demanded money from the teller. He then took off in a car shortly before police tracked him down.

Channel 2's Ryan Young was there when the suspect was arrested in a nearby apartment complex.

State trooper Christopher Ingle said they set up a perimeter and worked leads from witnesses to find the suspect. Authorities recovered the cash stolen  from the robbery.

Ingle said at some point, the suspect had caught a ride with a woman, who was also taken into custody.
