Employees at a Suntrust Bank are shaken up after a robbery in northwest Atlanta on Wednesday morning.
Atlanta police arrested two men near the Suntrust Bank on Chattahoochee Avenue and Defoor Place. Police said two armed, masked men entered the bank shortly before 9:40 a.m.
A witness said he saw the men outside the bank and called 911.
“Got out of my truck, looked up and a guy with a Michael Myers mask was sitting in the window. Got back in my truck, reversed, called 911,” Tim Nowak told Channel 2’s Ryan Young.
He said the men took off into the woods, but police arrived shortly after. News Chopper 2 flew over the area as officers loaded one handcuffed man into a police cruiser.
The bank is closed while officers continue their investigation.
