Johns Creek police found four bodies in the Aylesbury Farms apartments Monday.

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. —

Four people were found dead in a Johns Creek apartment Monday afternoon, including two boys.

Channel 2’s Mike Petchenik said Johns Creek police were called to do a welfare check at the Aylesbury Farms apartments on Abbotts Bridge Road when they made the discovery.

Police said they found four bodies inside the apartment: two adults, a 12-year-old and a 5-year-old. Officers said it is likely a murder-suicide but have not released information on how they believe the victims were killed.

Channel 2’s Mike Petchenik was at the complex as frantic family members showed up looking for answers. The area around the unit was roped off as crime scene technicians reviewed evidence.

Neighbors were shocked as the news spread.

“It's scary. It's pretty scary. We never had such kind of situations here, and it's a pretty decent apartment,” one woman told Petchenik.
