Johns Creek Doctor Accused Of Sexual Battery

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. —

A Johns Creek doctor has been arrested and charged with sexual battery on a minor.

The victim’s parents told investigators that they dropped their daughter off at the Diabetes and Hypertension Center on Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek so she could receive a hormone injection.

When they returned to pick her up, the parents stated that their daughter told them Dr. Narandra Gupta performed a breast and pelvic exam without a female assistant in the room.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Eric Philips contacted police about the incident. "He ended up doing a full body examination of her and really it was inappropriate," said Capt. Brian Weaver with the Johns Creek Police Department.

The victim said when female staff members knocked on the exam room door, Gupta told them not to enter.

The victim’s mother called police and told authorities that she felt the exam was inappropriate and unjustified.

One other alleged victim, a 28-year-old woman, has come forward as well. Police said there may be more victims.

Gupta was being held at the Fulton County Jail.
