Jim's investigations have led to corporate shake-ups and federal raids on offending businesses. One of Jim's groundbreaking series of reports led to sweeping regulation of the city of Atlanta's car booting industry.
Jim has more than two decades of broadcasting experience, having spent much of his career as an anchor and reporter at WHO-TV in Des Moines, Iowa. Jim is credited with breaking the story of Iowa's McCaughey septuplets and was first to interview the children's father, Kenny McCaughey.
In April 1999, Jim came to WSB-TV/Channel 2, where his first on-air story earned him an Emmy nomination. Jim has won six Emmys and many other awards, including being named a finalist for Journalist of the Year from the Atlanta Press Club.
Jim will begin his 30th year in broadcasting in February 2010.
Jim lives with his wife, Marie, and their two children in Cobb County.
