A pro hockey player spent two days in the Gwinnett County jail after allegedly groping a waitress three times. Now, he’s in need of a new job.

Zoltan Laszolo Hetenyi, 25, was intoxicated and being held down by employees of the Arena Tavern parking lot early Sunday when police arrived, according to the incident report, obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Hetenyi, a former goalie for the Orlando Solar Bears, told police he was in town for an ECHL game vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators.

The team announced it had released Hetenyi following his arrest.

A waitress at the tavern, on Satellite Boulevard near Duluth, told police Hetenyi grabbed her buttocks with both hands and she told him to stop. The AJC is not naming the woman because of the nature of the allegations.

“A few minutes later, the same male walked up to her a second time and grabbed her buttocks again,” the report states.

The woman said she ignored Hetenyi’s actions the second time. But then, he grabbed her again, she told police.

Hetenyi allegedly grabbed the woman’s breasts with both hands, and she yelled at him to leave the restaurant. The woman alerted her manager and other employees, who escorted Hetenyi outside as he shouted a derogatory racial term, the report states.

Shorlty after 2 a.m., an officer arrested Hetenyi, who became agitated in the back of the patrol car and yelled obscenities about Americans and black people. Hetenyi is a Hungarian national.

“After arriving at the county jail, Zoltan had to be restrained by deputies and placed into a separate holding cell because of his behavior,” the police report states.

Hetenyi was charged with three counts of sexual battery and one count of disorderly conduct, Gwinnett County jail records show. He was released Monday evening after posting $7,800 bond.
