WINDER, Ga. —

A former Barrow County pastor and his son have been charged with arson for setting fire to a church three years ago.

Barrow County sheriff's deputies arrested Quincy Arnold, 49, of Lawrenceville Tuesday. Investigators said he served as pastor of the New Life Deliverance Church near Winder.

The blaze gutted the church on Dec. 7, 2005. State and federal investigators said gasoline was used to ignite the fire.

Arnold's, Maurice Arnold, 24, of Dacula, was arrested in January.

The two men also face conspiracy to commit a crime, vandalism of a place of worship and insurance fraud.

Quincy Arnold was released on $50,000 bond. His son is out of jail on $30,000 bond.
