ATLANTA —
Devin Cox said, "For all these years, I've been feeling like I've been missing my mother's side of my family. As soon as she gets here, it's complete."
Devin has not seen her mother since she was born. Her father moved her to Miami when she was a baby and growing up, she didn't even know if her mother was alive.
"Since I could read and write I've been looking. I'm glad they didn't stop looking for me too," Devin said.
Elliott went searching on Facebook, and found her.
"After paying a detective to find her, and he couldn't find her. And just like that, Facebook found her," Elliott said.
Devin said she had just signed up for the social networking site recently.
"And I just got a recently got Facebook, that was really crazy," Devin said.
Elliot arranged to fly Devin and her mom, Joyce Bailey to Atlanta.
"It's exciting. No words, to express what I'm feeling," Devin said after she embraced her mother.
Devin said she will spend a few days with her mother, from Virginia, and her uncle in Atlanta.
