Cobb Officer Charged With DUI

A Cobb County Police Department lieutenant was charged with driving under the influence and other charges after a minor crash.

Police said Lt. Robert McGee of the Cobb County Police Department was driving under the influence of alcohol when he was involved in a hit and run crash Oct. 26 on Chastain Road and George Busbee Parkway in Kennesaw.

Cobb County police said McGee was charged with hit and run, DUI and following too closely. He turned himself in and was processed through the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
