Body, Crashed Motorcycle Discovered On Side Of Road

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office released the name of the man found dead on the side of the road.

Officials identified the man as 25-year-old Alexander Chandler of Fayetteville.

Union City police were called to Jonesboro Road after someone discovered a wrecked motorcycle and a body off the side of the road Wednesday afternoon.

A man walking along Jonesboro Road around 1:30 p.m. made the discovery. The motorcycle and body were found in some brush off the side of the road.

Union City police said it appears the body has been there for days.
