Bicyclist Hit, Killed In Woodstock

Woodstock police were called to the scene of a deadly accident involving a bicyclist Monday afternoon.

Lt. Paul Brown of the Woodstock Police Department said a van hit a bicyclist on Main Street just south of Highway 92 just after 4 p.m.

The bicyclist was killed.

A van was pulling out of the Regents Bank parking lot to make a right turn when the bicyclist hit the side of the van, police said.

Police said the victim was an adult.

The van driver is not expected to face charges, police said.
